“In the universe, there are things that are known, and things that are
unknown, and in between them, there are doors.”
― William Blake
Liminal Space is a series of work addressing the space and time in
between that which was, is and will be. It is an exploration of the things
that we hold onto just before we let them go, the potential of a moment,
the loss, the dream almost ready to be actualized or abandoned, the time
that exists in between not knowing and knowing.
The work in this series explores the very layers of this human experience
using photographs on different layers of fabric, the printed word, pages
from vintage journals and books, organic yarns, lace, rice paper, recycled
and handmade string.
